I don't know the names of these beautiful wildflowers, but we saw them on one of our trips to Maine. They looked like big lollipops! I'll have this, and all of these recent paintings, at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival April 10-12.

I've joined Daily Paintworks and am trying to get back to writing a blog. I'm hoping to reconnect with some of you who followed me before, and pick up some new followers. I know it'll take time. Please visit dailypaintworks.com to see the paintings I have listed. Next step, a new website.....
This painting is called "A Wink and a Smile." I found this cup in a little antique shop. It must have been a promotional item for Bailey's Irish Cream. This is the boy and I've painted him several times, but I have the girl cup, and also painted her. Inside the bowl of the cup it says "YUM!" It's 16"x20" oil on gallery wrapped canvas.
I'm one of the featured artists this Friday night at Artists Incorporated in Vestavia Hills. So in between painting cows, I've done some figures that I'll be showing there. Stop by from 5:30-8:30 if you're in the neighborhood! (More cows to follow!)
